This was our first fishing trip in the ocean/sea. The Capitan and his crew, First Mate Alexander and Deck Hand Dillon were amazing. Alexander never stopped moving. Dillon was so helpful and the entire crew made us feel safe and at ease the entire trip. The Caribbean Sea off the coast of Aruba is not like a lake. We had 5-7” swells and the Kristel handled them very well. You are going to rock and you want a boat like her, a 40ft Striker because she is made to handle them. I have seen other reviews that say the sea was “rough” and all I can say to that is, it is the ocean and that is how the ocean is. We were on fish in the first 20 minutes and they were steady the entire trip. In all we caught 8 fish. Two tuna, 3 barracuda and 2 rainbow runners. I lost three fish while reeling them in. We had 4 people in our group. They provide sodas and water. If you want snacks, not that you will have time to eat them, bring them along. We had the chance to use the chair, a belt and a hand line to reel in the fish. It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend the Kristel, her Captain and crew. This has been on my bucket.list for years and I would like to thank them all for the great day.

Rough day on the water but this crew kept trying.  We landed a huge Wahoo a small grouper and 2 barracuda.  Not to mention the ones we lost.  Not the crew’s fault.  Other boats had nothing.  Can’t remember the captains name but both him and Alex are the hardest working crew.  I’ll be booking again in November.  Thanks and see you again boys.
