My 6th grade boys wanted to go “shark hunting” while on vacation in Galveston.  Weather at the time was iffy (stormy), but Captain Matt was flexible enough to get us off the jetty between downpours.  Boat was utilitarian but clean and very well organized/maintained (everything we needed). 

Captain Matt expertly skippered the boat to the best locations for bait fish and Chondrichthyes, and was completely competent in safely managing people/process and resources in a kind and gentlemanly manner.  He was nice enough to stop by a few of the local water attractions to provide information.

While the sharks were afraid of us that day apparently, we did catch three HUGE stingrays (~50#, ~75#, ~#130) and harvested their stingers.  The big rays fought HARD; luckily the rods/reels/humans held up through the fight !

We’ll be back with Captain Matt to get those sharks next time.  Highly recommended !

Traveled to Texas to take my daughter who is attending University of Houston fishing. Captain communicated well and kept up to date with schedule adjustments, weather concerns and target species. Great trip on the water and let us know about local sites as we Traveled through Galveston Bay. On top of the bait, attentive to needs and there to lend a hand if needed. Clean fish, and got us back to the dock as scheduled.

Caught bull sharks, was a hoot highly recommend

Excellent trip was put on a load of catfish and got some sharks as well Captian Matt was great answering all of our questions and made it a fun knowledgeable trip will diffently be going back!!

My sons and I had a good time. It was our first time saltwater fishing they had everything we needed and the captain and crew made it a smooth enjoyable experience.
