Overall the trip was great!!! Although fish weren’t biting great we all still caught at least one fish (Captain Lucas hooked one and let our little one reel it in). We have an 8year old daughter who wasn’t super interested in fishing but was very inquisitive about the bait (mud minnows) and Captain Lucas answered every question she had and kept her entertained while the rest of us fished. We had an amazing fishing trip that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived Captian Adam made us feel very comfortable. What really stood out was how great he was with the kids— super patient with our 10 year old who loves fishing. Great communication. Easy to meet up and head out. We hit on Spanish almost immediately. Stayed with Spanish for a while. Moved to inshore, not as successful but Capt Lucas made every effort to get us on more fish. Would recommend.
