We were scheduled for the afternoon trip and when we arrived it was extremely windy. Captain Jamie explained the situation and gave us the option to continue with the trip which would be very rough and tough fishing or reschedule for the next day. We chose to switch to the morning trip the next day and we’re so happy we did. We watched the sun rise on the lake and the water was smooth. we had a great time on our 2nd charter with Happy Hookers. the captain and 1st mate were experienced, friendly, helpful and we got our full alottment of trout and some salmon. The lake was choppy, we had some weather come in and the guys were great. We had a terrific time.
