EVERYTHING WORKED LIKE CLOCKWORK WITH REGARD TO THE RESERVATION, COMMUNICATION WITH THE CAPTAIN, DEPARTURE TIME, ETC.  NICE BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS AT THE DOCK.  CAPTAIN WAS VERY ACCOMODATING TO OUR NEEDS TO ADD AN HOUR TO THE TRIP AND TO DEPART AN HOUR EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED.

FISHING WAS SLOW THE FIRST 45 MINUTES AND THEN WE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT SPOT AND CAUGHT OUR LIMIT OF 25 BLACK DRUM FOR THE 5 OF US WITHIN TWO HOURS.  THE REST OF THE TIME WAS CATCH AND RELEASE.

THEN WE WENT TO HULI HULI HUT JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY WHERE THEY COOKED OUR FRESH CATCH FOR US 4 DIFFERENT WAYS.

THE ENTIRE DAY WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.

This was our family’s first trip fishing offshore and we all had a great time.  The weather wasn’t the best but Shannon knew right where to go to keep us as protected from the wind as possible but still catch fish.  And we did catch fish!  He was a professional who was always ready with advice and to rebait our hooks.  He even cleaned our fish and gave us a suggestion for a restaurant that would cook it for us.  Will book with him again.

Perfect day on the water with Captain Shannon. The wind had the jetty’s not a good option, but the bay provided. We were put on fish the whole time we were out.  Got our limit on black drum and specks and threw back the rest.  My wife and I had a great time and recommend Galveston Offshore Charter to everyone.

Went out on a 5 hr nearshore trip today with Cpt. Shannon. Even though the weather didn’t want to cooperate, Cpt Shannon made sure we got on the fish. Tried many different spots and tactics and it paid off. Highly knowledgeable and experienced. Had a great trip and will be booking another trip in the near future.

Shannon was an excellent guide and made the experience outstanding. We have fished all over the country and will be returning to fish with Shannon again based on experience we had! Super personable and extremely knowledgeable about his craft and the area, even suggested a restaurant we could go to that would cook our catch!
