After much research, my husband and I decided on Jersey Key charters and so happy we went with them. We fish a lot and have done many charters over the years. We travel to the keys from the Sarasota/Tampa area a couple times and year. This time, we were here visiting for our anniversary and decided to book a fishing charter for our special day. We went with the 6 hour reef & wreak option and so happy that we did. It was the perfect amount of time and got to fish for all types of fish. We met captain Quinn at the Marina a little late (trying to get breakfast early) and he was completely understanding and didn’t make us feel bad about it which was a relief. From there we made a quick stop to check some bait traps and were on the reef catching our limit of yellow tail snapper in no time. From there, he got us on Mahi and even caught the biggest black fin tuna we’ve ever caught and will probably ever catch in our lifetime. Also snagged a monster of a black grouper but had to put back because they were out of season.  When we got back to the docks, he quickly cleaned and packaged our fish. The entire time, he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and overall just fun to be on the boat with. Like I mentioned above, we fish a lot and have done many charters over the years and this one was by far the best one yet! Thanks Quinn for a great time. Our family of four had a blast on our four hour action packed fishing trip! The boat was very comfortable to move around in. Captain Quinn put us right on the fish. My son hooked and battled a big nurse shark. He also caught a Jack Crevalle. Captain Quinn was great at explaining and answering questions since we fish freshwater. Captain Quinn’s level of excitement matched ours when we had a fish on. It is obvious that Captain Quinn loves his job. The vibe was perfect. No doubt we will be back for another trip. This fishing trip was the absolute perfect way to end an amazing week in the keys! The beautiful sunset was an added bonus.

I had such a good time!!! Captain Quin was amazing, he took me straight to the fish!!! within 2 minutes of my first cast, caught an amazing Mangrove Snapper. After a while, we moved to another spot and caught several big Mutton Snappers!!! Overall it was an amazing day of fishing. I have been on several charters, and I have to say that Captain Quin is a true Captain and knows where the fish are and understands the ocean. I will definitely be booking again with Jersey Key and Captain Quin.

We told Captain Quinn that we would like to catch yellowtail, and he took us straight to an offshore reef full of them. In 1 hour, we caught our limit. He then took us to a wreck a couple minutes away, and we drifted over it for other species. We added a handful of vermillion snapper to go with the others. Capt. Quinn was quick with tying new hooks and baiting as needed, and he shared his knowledge with us freely every time we had a question. He told us where to cast and why. As the fish came on the boat, he was right there to lend a hand. When were done and docked, he had our fish cleaned and bagged in a hurry.

Furthermore, they will work with you as you are booking. We were in the middle of booking a specific date and time, and they called us real quick to let us know someone was in the process of paying their deposit for the day we wanted. Arrangements were amended quickly and painlessly. These guys are kind, they know how to get the fish, and they are highly responsive.

Charter is top notch. Clean boat. Great day catching snapper and then amberjack on wrecks.  Recommend them to anyone, knows the water well and very personalable Captain. Will book them again.
