So we actually went out with Alex’s father who is also Alex He did a great job found the fish, brought water, beer, sodas, snacks, and what looked like homemade sandwiches which were fantastic. We very much appreciated his hospitality. after the trip my 2 sons and I (we fish regularly) discussed the experience and we all agree this is a trip for people who love to fish, and not tourist who don’t normally fish but think it would be cool to try it out in Mexico… It was about a 25 min car ride from the pickup point to where Alex’s fathers boat is kept… we had to drive past a horrible smelling water treatment plant, then had to wait for the boat to be setup…. But once we were on the water poling through the mangroves catching snook, snapper, trigger fish, it was clearly worth the effort. Alex thank you for getting me and my boys on the water we will be back hopefully with calmer winds ready to fly fish!!!
