So trolling yes for your halfday trip ten miles offshore. Two people that come aboard were still drunk from the night before and were sick before leaving the dock. Planned to leave at 7am and left dock at 730… Messaged at 6:15 explaining the issue to push back.  We caught one 25lb kingfish,one amber jack, blackfin tuna, and six barracudas.
Trolling two planners causes tangles when wind is blowing NE and current it 6 knots. We use strip baits catch fresh bait when we’re out there and strip them out for trolling. Seems ole Dan should open his own charter business down here and show us how it’s done. Very productive day of fishing. If you expect to catch a marlin on a halfday trip you will always be disappointed. Arranged client to take tours outside of the city two days later. This was his message to me as I’ll cut and paste it.

About a driver for Thursday, we are in for that if is around   40 or 50 dollars.
We would want to leave around 7:00 am and return around 4:00 pm. We would like the driver to swing us by the covid testing place in Boca grande before we leave town.
We would like to go to the selva and walk around for awhile. Perhaps see some wildlife.
Can you arrange that for us?

Hey there. Showing up late to the dock….... Asking for your mother in law to be dropped off at a beach resort….. Smaller kids on the boat….. Couple issues here not allowing us to push so far offshore based on skills and safety. The day on the boat includes driving around dropping off and picking up guests from the island resort. Cutting into fishing time.  When we spoke to you after the trip you were happy. Kids had a good time fishing and driving the boat…. Not sure why your not understanding the true facts here.

We apologize for the unfortunate experience. I personally wasn’t able to make it to this week’s fishing trips as I had stated prior days in advance. We carry Dramamine on the vessel in the first aid kit at all times. We suggest eating ginger the day before to help with a turning stomach. As for the fishing gear we run diawa Shimano and Penn. All newer within a year and maintained! Past few days the bite has been hot and lures get beat up! Shinny new lures haven’t caught fish before no? We have Cartagena dialed in. Our numbers show it. Some days are harder then others and I apologize for the experience. On our halfdays we supply water ice and snacks. Fulldays include more drinks and snacks. Additional we only allow 6 clients per on our vessels. We want our customers to be placed in the right position to catch a trophy. We apologize for the experience and offer a discount for another experience with us!

We fish 365 days out of the year! Some days it’s hard to find fish brother. Other days none stop action. We suggested you extended your trip to 3/4 day as the weedlines were 20 miles out and a halfday we couldn’t get to them. We have been in business for six years and our crew has been together from the start. If traveling to a third world country you will find yes they don’t speak much English but boy they know how to fish! There is Capt Dunny in the photo the day before your trip. Apologies

Unfortunately the fishing conditions wernt in our favor and we opt to try something different for you guys seeing that one of the guys joing you didnt have much experience offshore. The diving masks were cleaned with rubbing alcohol after speaking to my mate duny they could have been cleaned out properly. Spearfishing close to shore is frowned upon by the locals not illegal. Knowing that we try to limit our spearfishing close to shore. When leaving the boat we offered to take you guys out on a clammer day on the house. We also paid for your guys lunch at the beach due to the poor fishing conditions. The beach message seemed to be the highlight for the day. Sorry to see your bad review and wish you could have spoke to me direct before hand. Everyone has different expectations. We run into different problems operationg in a third world country and its a bit different for some people. Our reputation is great and we want to keep it that way. Again sorry and message us direct to come to a agreement if you desire.
