Started off the trip with friendly conversation and high spirits. It was a rough day on the water, but we still landed a nice snapped. Spent the remainder of the trip trolling for big game fish. We weren’t successful in landing and marlin or tune…. but that’s fishing. The captain and crew were above great and extremely accomodating. The boat and all gear was clean and top of the line. It was a fantastic trip on the Atlantic Ocean on Madeira. Together with my close friends we experienced great fishing adventures on a fully equipped boat and dedicated crew with Anders and David. They did everything and a bit more to give us truly memorable days and good fishing. I could really recommend Gavito Fishing in deep water just outside Madeira.

We went out for the incoming tide with Heiko and Santana- they were both very helpful and friendly and for sure know their business, experienced fishermen and “seamen”. We didn’t catch excessively much but definitely decently (5 fish overall, including a nice big snapper). We had a ton of fun and fishing just is that way, not every day can be golden. Great day of mixed fishing, live bait, trolling and deep fishing. Very friendly and helpful crew. It was me and my 14 year old sun, who both enjoyed the day even though my son got a bit sea sick and had to spend half the trip below deck sleeping. Modern equipment and a tidy boat! Highly recommend!
