Nice people, no fish
We were on a 6hr trip and the crew was nice and ready to go. We were eager but inexperienced so we told them what we wanted to catch but asked for recommendations. I asked about a particular fish but it required live bait and they werent prepared and did not seem eager to pursue that. They also seemed unwilling to really provide any real direction so just we pursued what they were already setup for. There were 4 of us and we only caught 1 mahi mahi after 5hrs of trying so we just headed back to the dock and stopped at some islands and caught a needle fish. I was disappointed that they did not do more to try and get us more fish: no change of tactics, change of bait, or change of target fish. They communicated via CB with other boats in the area and it appears it was a bad fishing day for everyone but our crew still made no extra efforts. I believe that high tourism has impacted the fishing there so that may have affected our experience. Just to reiterate, nice people and they tried to get us something, but just a bad fishing day.
Hello friends, you cannot arrive on the day of fishing wanting to catch a rooster fish without notifying a few days before the trip, live bait is not caught so easily and if the fishing was a bit slow but we were the only ones with a Mahi Mahi in the boat, it was I'm sorry if we weren't effective enough in fishing that's why it's called fishing sometimes you fish and sometimes you don't
