I’ve charted many fishing trips with success in bringing plenty of fish but this fishing trip was more of a scenic ride than a fishing trip I felt like we just went to areas that the captain thought might be fish it was like having a buddy take you out fishing that didn’t know the area No success in fishing just a scenic ride of the Galveston bay
Booked this trip for my eight-year-old grandson’s first bay fishing trip. We went with the 4 hour bay/jetty trip. His Poppy and Uncle went along for the ride. Captain Robbie and Deck Hand Landon met and exceeded expectations. He caught close to 30 bait fish to start and then the hunt was on! He caught black drum, steelhead, trout and most excitingly a 4 foot sandbar shark. Couldn’t ask for a better trip or a better captain and deck hand. He even got to talk a little smack to his uncle for catching more fish! Would definitely recommend UpScale Anglers as well as Robbie and Landon.

Captain Robbie and Lando made the trip fun for our family. He was knowledgeable about what was out there to catch. I enjoyed catching the bait fish, then the dinner fish and topped it off with shark and stingray fishing. Definite highlight of the trip was the massive approximately 9 foot and 300 pound lemon shark we hooked into. Took us for a ride for 45 minutes and 3/4 of a mile. Captain Robbie kept everyone involved and the mood exciting. Definitely the most electric fishing charter we have been on, and thats with dozens of trips worth of experience. These two guys knew their stuff and were super friendly and great with us and our younger son. Upscale anglers is definitely the charter to go with for family trips, boys trips, and just a great time in general.

Robbie & Landon were awesome. We got gas and bait then got to the 1st spot dropped anchor and ddnt move once. They put us on fish and we wete hooking up to the very end. Caught 3 bull reds at least 36+ inches, red fish and a trophy trout. We recommend Robbie and Landon with Upscale Anglers ALL DAY!

My family and I had an incredible trip with Upscale Anglers in Galveston. Captain Adam and Deckhand Tristen run a tight ship—they’re fun to be around, they know the water like the back of their hand, and they kept us on the fish all day. My son landed his personal best Bull Red, and I came within inches of topping mine. My wife and daughter caught more fish than they ever have on a trip, and the crew stayed on top of everything—rebaiting, resetting lines, and making sure we were always fishing, not waiting. Great people, great energy, and a great day on the water. We’ll be back, no question.

For those reading this, you WILL have fun. This team had been in constant communication with me from the day i booked my trip. We had the pleasure of having Anthony and Sean guide us along the water. They educated those in our group who didnt know how to fish into building the confidence to be able to hook a huge bullshark. They keep us busy in the sense that we keep just catching fish. They also educated us on the type of fish we caught. Never the less I highly recommend this team if you want to go out and have a great time. Dont be shy book with them and i promise you, you WONT regret it. Overall in simple word thia trip was FUN.
