Very nice boat & equipment. Knowledgeable captain put us right on the fish all day. Both halibut & salmon fishing were very fun and Chris gave us just about he right amount of help as needed, he was great.
This was our second time with Alaska Catch and again didn’t disappoint! Our group of 6 (4 fishing vetrans & 2 new fishermen) had great luck on a 5 hour salmon trip. We landed 4 silver and 21 pink and had over a dozen “shakers” (juvenile king that went back).
We had such a blast! Kiley was so fun, enthusiastic, and really helped us have a great experience!
A fun day day of combo fishing. We caught almost every species we went out looking for.
I told Captain Ryan that catching a king salmon was on my all-time bucket list. He did tell me that they were not in season, but would take us trolling where kings frequent. Not only did we catch a few kings, we were fortunate enough to catch a keeper that was 30 inches. We also caught over 10 pinks and released many more that were undersized. I highly recommend The Alaska Catch. Captain Ryan was very attentive and made sure my family didn't go empty-handed. Of our 7 day cruise, the salmon fishing excursion was the most memorable. If we ever come back to Ketchikan, I will definitely book The Alaska Catch again.
