Captain Dean and first mate John made our first walleye fishing trip to lake erie an exceptional experience. Well worth the 9 hour drive up from north carolina! captain refused to troll blaming high fuel prices. he and his “first mate” were more interested in fishing for themselves. was told fish cleaning was included then got hit with a $2/fish fee and recieved roughly 1/2 of the total catch. first mate was rude and counterproductive.

We were running a little late and he was very understanding. Waited for us at the dock very nice very professional took care of us very well made sure we were on the fish and caught as many as we could was more than happy.

Captain Dean has 37 years experience, and knows Lake Erie like the back of his hand. My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren to celebrate my 18-year-old grandsons high school graduation. Captain Dean gave us fishing instructions and waited on us, be it a tangle in a line or netting of a fish. He supplies you with all the equipment you need. We caught about 14 Walleye’s and other species. I would highly recommend Dean to anyone seeking a good fishing experience on Lake Erie.
