I’ve been on a lot of inshore trips and this was by far the best the captain went above and beyond! He made sure we had a great time and again went above and beyond trying to get us to catch fish!! Highly recommend if you are wanting to fish around the Kitty Hawk area.

Where to start...Captain Andy was stellar right from the beginning. He got us out right away to start catching our own live bait. While doing so we caught bait fish plus a puffer fish and pompano which were thrown back. Once we moved to our fishing location he was able to get us maxed out with Spotted Trout. We had to throw 2 back because Mom caught 2 of them over 21". While fishing my son also snagged a decent size stingray. Captain And was determined to get us maxed out on our catches! He was very knowledgeable and well prepared! Definitely a fun day out!

Captain Andy kept us updated on weather until the day of our trip. My boys had a great day! Captain Andy provided everything they needed for fishing. Provided them with shelter under a bridge during a short storm and he gave my son lasting memories with his father. Seeing the smile on their faces after their fishing trip was priceless!!! First off, Andy made sure our entire family was comfortable and explained everything we would see prior to taking off. We moved out into the water and Andy took us to one of his many hot spots. We caught a fish on the first cast! That started the day off right. Trout after trout over each one of our drifts. Andy was especially kind to my son ( who has special needs ). My son desperately wanted to reel in a red drum, Andy switched baits, moved us around and BOOM red drum. Honestly this trip couldn’t have been any better. Captain Andy is one of the nicest people we have met and my goodness he’s one heck of a fisherman. I HIGHLY recommend coming out with Captain Andy, he can accommodate a self proclaimed professional fisherman or a novice just trying to catch a fish. Something I would also like to note is how reasonable the price is for such a great experience. Poles / Bait / Fish / Music / and pure hospitality is what you will get. We will be visiting Captain Andy much more frequently moving forward. LETS GO!!!

This cruise was far from Boozie for us. In fact, it was quite memorable. I reached out to Cpt. Andy to see if he would be willing to help me out with a unique situation. My father passed away and had asked for a burial at sea two days prior. Due to time and financial restrictions, that was not doable for us. Andy asked if we had any specifics in mind, which of course, I didn't. I was simply trying to honor my father's wishes. I told him a little about our situation and a bit about my father...I asked Andy for input and he did not disappoint. We met, took a ride around the sound and learned quite a bit from Andy about the history of the OBX. It was like meeting up with an old friend. When we rode out to spread my fathers ashes, the spot was perfect and not only planned for sundown, which is symbolic for such an occasion, but we also caught a beautiful view of the rising of the flower moon. The pictures do not don't justice. It was so beautiful. Andy even took pictures of my husband and I spreading my father's ashes, without being asked, which amplified the value he places on family. We will be back and hope to spend time with Andy again, learning more of the OBX and hopefully getting to do a little fishing! Thank you, Andy! You are simply a remarkable person and it was both an honor and pleasure sharing time and memories with you on our first adventure in the OBX.
