Our family of six (ages 11+) had an amazing time on our first fishing charter!ย We had been watching the weather all day as it looked like a storm was heading our way for the evening.ย Sure enough, after about 30 min of leaving the marina, the winds picked up and the rain started.ย Captain Sonny and Hunter skillfully brought us through the storm.ย After about 45 min of crazy rain, waves, and hail, the storm quieted and we picked up fishing where we had left off.ย Hunter was a first-rate skipper, handily dropping and playing the lines to help us land a cooler full of fish.ย When we returned to the marina, it was dark and the power was out, but Hunter wasnโt phased.ย He set up to clean and fillet our catch using the flashlight from his phone!ย Thank you so much, Sonny and Hunter, for a memorable evening out on the lake!ย (The storm was the icing on the cake!!)
