We have done a few charters here and there while on vacation. We live in Ohio and my wife and kids thought it would be a good Father’s Day gift for us guys to do a fishing charter off Lake Erie. This was a lot of fun. Captain Joe went out of his way to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves. My son and I have been going to Vermillion every year since he was born but this time our 15 year old kid wanted to do something different. A fishing Charter! So we look at reviews, prices and locations and found Captain Sloppy Joe. It turned out to be a memorable Event. There was no rest on the boat! The captain had us catching fish through the 4 plus hours on the boat. We caught 11 legal sized Walleye(one short of the Max) and a perch. We caught many more fish but they were here too... More

Joe put us on the fish. It was a bit bumpy at first so he took us to calmer waters. Talked about strategy and how he locates the fish. My boys had a good time too. Would definitely book with him again.
