We had booked five 8-hour trips in a span of tendays in the late November. Captain Ali and his assistant are competent guys, who seem to know local fishing areas well. They are moderately energetic but nether over the top. Boat is 9-and-smth meters long with much space on it, convenient for casting. All clean and in a good condition. Rods and reels are in a good shape too. They suit well enough for any ordinary catch, but should you hook something really big they are likely too give up starting with shock leader. I believe this was easy to talk out with the captain and fix, but we came to this realisation too late and thus lost at least 5 good catches. If you have special expectations on this matter, address this issue at the start, or bring your own equipment. Other all, it was a good adventure for us, who have a good amount of river-fishing experience but are complete amateurs in the sea. We have caught good amount of different fishes including several small yellow-fin tunas, two-and-half sharks up to 15 kilos each, several good red snappers up to 9 kilos, one decent mahi-mahi, one needle-fish about 1,3 m long, and multitude of other snappers and groupers of different numbers and sizes. So I can surely recommend this team. It is worth to mentioning thought, that Friday is a resting day on Maldives, so would you like to appoint a fishing on this day, discuss the matter with the captain in advance.
