We had an absolutely amazing experience with this fishing guide out of hitchcock, Texas. It was me and my 11-year-old nephew, who had never been on a fishing trip before, and our guide made the entire trip unforgettable. He truly tailored the experience toward my nephew, making sure he felt comfortable, included, and excited the whole time. In just a two-hour trip, he put my nephew on 19 catches, which made his first fishing experience something he will never forget. He also went above and beyond by bringing waters and snacks for my nephew, which showed how thoughtful and prepared he was. The trip was comfortable, fun, and very well-run from start to finish. Another thing I really appreciated was the dock/location he goes out of. It has a security guard and a private gate, so my truck felt very secure while we were out on the water. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing guide, especially if you’re bringing kids or first-time anglers. We could not have asked for a better experience! We can not wait to book our next trip! Also you can’t beat the prices!!!

Capt. Bobby was amazing! Very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful half day excursion and fished several spots. If you are fishing with kids, this is the one to book. Bobby was so patient and educational in a fun and relaxed way with our son. We would happily book him again if headed back to the area.

This was my third trip out with Captain Bobby, and he continues to impress. He’s a great guy, an excellent fisherman, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a backcountry Texas trip targeting redfish, trout, or flounder. He works hard to put you on fish and makes the whole experience enjoyable. Launching out of the greater Galveston Bay area also makes it super convenient for anyone coming from Houston. Can’t wait for the next trip!

We went out with Captain Bobby one morning and had a fantastic day. It didn’t take us lomg from pickup to get to the first fishing spot to get on the reds and specks. We caught a lot of fish we had to throw back, but what a fun fight! Captain Bobby is so patient, a great teacher, and generally a joy to be around. We fished with live shrimp and some artificials and never had a problem getting quick bites. Captain Bobby will put you on the fish!
