Captain Paul was excellent he put me on fish immediately caught multiple King fish.was looking for that big snapper and about 3:00 PM we found him. Thanks again captain Paul. Highly Recommended.
It great when a plan comes together, I enjoyed the challenge to get some of NZ’s favorite fish on to Robert’s fishing gear.
Thank you Paul, for such a great day’s fishing - visiting North Island, New Zealand - I wanted to catch a decent Snapper & a Kingfish …..I did this and more thanks to Paul - an excellent & knowledgeable captain. The fight the Kingfish gave were nothing short of spectacular- so strong. I may live a long way in away (in England !!) but I’ll definitely be back.

My partner and I really enjoyed the zero admin of this experience. We walked on to the boat, everything was provided, we didn;t need anything and we walked off the boat at the end, no hassle. Although we didn't catch any keepable fish, it was a really enjoyable experience. It was perfect...aside from going home and cooking sausages for dinner...hahahha.
cheers the snapper seamed to have disappeared, but the commercial longline boat kept hammering the bay, if you see any actions to support the removal of these activities please add your support, as a charter fishing operation to support the recreational fishers there is an obvious slowdown of snapper catches the longer the commercial long liners are in the bay.
Capt Paul was easy going and so knowledgeable. Boat has plenty of room for our party to all fish🐟 on deck. Caught snapper and kings and he dressed them for us. Ate them for supper at the Swordfish bistro near the dock. Doesn't get fresher than that! Thanks Paul for a great day of fishing!

We booked a private charter with 5 friends. The boat is built for active fishing and does not have much seating so plan on standing. The captain got us onto some good fishing in several locations even though the water was a little rough. We enjoyed the experience - but plan on baiting your own hooks and learning how to release the ones you don't keep. We caught a lot of red snapper and enjoyed them for dinner afterwards. I would recommend this trip to anyone adventurous enough to take on a "real' fishing experience. Also, the captain only accepts cash or paypal, so plan for that.
Paul was awesome to deal with, first fish caught was a JD on bait, he knows where all the good spots are and wont hang around long if the fish are quiet. Thanks Paul
