This was a first time Ice Fishing experience for my wife and she was very hesitant and nervous, but when we arrived at the dock and met Pat, our “captain”, she quickly was put at ease. Pat had prepared everything ahead of us and we were fishing in no time. Even though this year’s weather was not the best, we caught some fish. I highly recommend Captain Hooks Fishing Adventure.
Pat was amazing. He did everything for us ladies, baited the hooks filleted the fish, and made us feel comfortable and made it a lot of fun our first time Ice fishing. Bonus he played great music

Pat was awesome. We showed up and he was waiting to haul us out to where he had everything set up and ready with vexlar’s for everyone. He got us on the fish asap but unfortunately the fish weren’t in the biting mood. Pat refused to take any money. But the time and effort this man puts into taking care of his customers is first rate. He did his job getting us on fish and that’s all apart of fishing. He can’t make the fish hungry and wanna bite. I told him there was no way he wasn’t getting paid for all the pre-work and set up. Then after we left, Pat went back to pack up and had some issues with his sled due to the foot of slush on top of the ice already and had to call a recovery service. He’s out there doing this all by himself to make sure his customers have the best experience and whether we’re successful catching fish these guides deserve every penny they charge. These guys put too much time and effort day in and day out to not make enough money. I just hope people take into consideration that they earn their money even if you don’t catch fish. He’s the only guide I’ll ever use in that area and already booked for walleyes this spring. It’s guides like Pat that get the repeat customers. Plus I found out he was from the same town were from, before he and his wife packed up 25 years ago and headed north. Can’t say enough good things about him and look forward to hammering some walleye’s in a few months. Thanks Pat, your the best.

Captain and his son had everything set up before we got there and they supplied us with everything we needed! We were able to get on some fish and had a great time!
Pat is a great guide. Knows the area and his craft like a pro. Would highly recommend for any fishing season.
