Capt. Dan was a consummate professional. Put us on the fish and delivered, drop after drop. Extremely personable and knowledgeable, even helped our whole crew manage our “inner ear issues.” Everything, top to bottom was fantastic and would recommend 100% to anyone looking to catch a bunch of fish off of Tybee! We booked the kids trip for our 8 year old son. The Captain showed him how to cast and reel in. Explained the bait to him and was very informative on a kids level. However, I did not think about giving him some medicine to keep from getting sea sick. Our son caught a baby shark and wanted to come back. Our Captain tried to find a spot less choppy but the ocean was not cooperating. He was more than kind and told our son he’s proud of him for speaking up when he was feeling sick. I’m so happy we took the trip and that the Captain was understanding when we had to turn back. Next time, I’ll be sure to give him some Dramamine beforehand because the ocean wouldn’t cooperate!!
Captain Jon took me and my 2 boys out for their fist deep sea trip (ages 8 and 10) for the 10 hour trip. Rough weather in the beginning of the day and pending rough weather at the end of our trip was a concern but Captain Jon navigated the ocean and our adventure like a pro! He worked hard to ensure that we stayed "on the bite" and was hospitable as my boys had a 1,000 questions as the day went on. We had a great day and we will definitely be back to visit Captain Jon on our next trip to Tybee.
Daniel was great and he did everything he could to put us on the fish. The tide was higher than normal because of the previous night's rain so it took longer to recede. Daniel postponed our departure time by two hours because of the tide. The wind was also tough and was sustained at 19 mph. We were at the right place at the right time but the weather conditions won out that day. No regrets, and would go out again with Daniel anytime. He was so helpful,patient and knowledgeable . I would recommend this Charter and look forward to scheduling another outing in the future.
