Great fishing even in rough waters
The seas were angry that day, it tried to throw us back out of the water. Captain Blake and crewman Houston did a great job trying to keep the motion to a minimum. Captain Blake took us directly to the fish, we were pulling in Red Snappers as soon as the bait was on the floor. We had 6 keepers and at least that many "just under the size" in the first forty minutes of getting to the spot. Houston seemed as if he had four or five arms - baiting one pole, taking a fish off another pole and getting a couple of cigar minnows ready to be cast out. The sea won that day but we took home enough fish to eat the next nights meal back at the condo. We were only gone a total of just over 3 hours and we had 6 Red Snappers and one Spanish Mackerel. We will be back, no doubt and we will even the score with the sea. Thank you Captain Blake and First Mate Houston, great job and we will do even better next time.
