family vacation trip!!

We had an awesome time with captain Duke! 🎣 From start to finish, the captain and his mate were fantastic. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. They knew exactly where to put us on the fish and kept everything running smoothly. The captain and mate made the trip fun and enjoyable for everyone, and you could tell they genuinely wanted us to have a great day on the water. We caught some great fish, made some great memories, and couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in OBX. We’ll definitely be booking with them again! 🎣🔥

Captain Duke and his first mate were amazing! We had a great time on this fishing charter from start to finish. The captain and mate were friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great experience including the kids! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and they knew exactly where to find the fish. Whether you’re experienced or a first-time fisherman, they make the trip fun and easy. We caught plenty of fish, learned a lot, and made some great memories on the water. You can tell they truly care about their guests having a successful and enjoyable trip. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fantastic day fishing!

great first trip
Half Day Trip on August 11, 2026 • 6 adults • 2 children
We went out with captain Duke and First mate Gavin on our first ever trip on the ocean. We had smooth water and trolled - caught 25 Blues and 5 good sized spanish and lost about 10 others. We were a group of 4 adults and two kids ages 5 and 9. The kids had fun. Gavin was great about teaching them what we were using and he kept up with all the poles bending. We had two times that 4 of 5 poles hit at once. would love to go further out next time and do some fishing for some larger fish but it was a fun trip!

Hot on the Blues!
Half Day Trip on August 6, 2026 • 6 adults • 3 children
This was a great trip! We did a 4 hour inshore trip and brought home 46 Blues and Spanish Mackerel. We probably had 20 or more come off the hook and lost a couple at the boat but with that many fish nobody fretted a bit! The kids actually needed a break and went and relaxed in air conditioned cabin for a bit. Gavin was very personable, experienced, and great with everyone no matter their fishing experience. We'd book again with Captain Duke and Gavin in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The first mate Gavin was fantastic with my family

We had a family fishing trip with members that ranged from 12 years old to 70 years old. The first mate Gavin was very interactive, friendly and educational with everyone. he had a perfect feel for everyone’s experience level and how to keep them involved. I suppose it may have been easy seeing we were catching fish literally every minute or two… but everything went perfectly. I would highly recommend Captin Duke to anyone thinking of doing it.
