Very Cool Experience

4 Hour Bay Adventure4 adults

The whole trip was amazing! Captain John and his 1st mate Samuel were amazing throughout the entire trip. The boat was clean and well kept and safety was a priority. The captain went over where and what all the safety things were so that we knew if needed. Fishing was great, went to several different places, and ended the day by catching a ray. It was really unique and fun experience. I took my husband and both of my parents, (my dad is 74 and mom had no interest in fishing until today), and they both did great and had a wonderful time and so did my husband as well as myself. We caught a variety of different fish as well and the captain and his 1st mate were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and gave us a bunch of knowledge regarding the kind of fish we caught or what we were fishing for. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so glad that we did it and I’m so happy that I chose Bottom Bouncer Fishing. I am a big believer in good customer service and the captain and his crew didn’t disappoint!

    Highly recommended!

    3 Hour Bay Adventure • 2 adults

    Captain John and his mate Landon had us out fishing on the O.C. Inlet within 10 minutes (while about 6-7 dolphins jumped and swam with us in the bay for about a half mile!!). Fished several spots on the inlet, next to the Gateway bridge, and in the bay. Caught a toadfish, a couple flounder too small to keep, a pufferfish, some sea bass, and a couple of fish that jumped off our hooks before we could net them. Not to mention a lot of bites that got away. Both men were very attentive to us, rebaiting our hooks quickly and keeping us fishing. 3 hours flew by, and we had a great experience.

    Can’t Alway Control if Fish Are Biting, But…

    3 Hour Ocean Shark - 12:00 PM • 2 adults

    You may not be able to predict or control nature but you CAN control how you treat people and sometimes that’s all that matters! After reading MANY review for different boats offering fishing charters, what stood out the mosg for Bottom Bouncer, Captain John, and first mate Hunter were the extremely positive reviews on them being great guys, funny and knowledgeable (and high fishing success rates for sharks, rays and other fish!). Knowing I would likely solo on this trip, that was very important to me! The reviews were spot on. Even though I’m no stranger to fishing (bass and trout mostly), I knew nothing about being on open waters or shark fishing. Both of these guys were more than open to my questions and teaching me things without man-splaining 😂. Even though I did not catch any sharks (did catch a few other things though 😊), I knew before I even booked the trip that nature is unpredictable and animals don’t care how fancy your equipment is or how smart you are…some days are just not gonna be *your* day. Proof came a few hours after my trip ended with the very next group catching a few sharks of nice size! I wasn’t resentful. I was happy for them! Capt. John and Hunter felt horrible that I didn’t catch a shark but I assured them I knew it wasn’t their fault, that I watched them do everything they could, and that I knew that morning just wasn’t my day 🤷🏼‍♀️ I still walked away very pleased with the experience and how they treated me. So much so that I told them I’d book another trip ASAP…and I booked within hours! How you treat someone says a thousand words about character and is something a person can control. They are doing this to give people great experiences and lifelong memories, not for money. Those are the people and businesses you want to support and keep going back to! Can’t wait for my second trip later today! Fingers crossed that I get a shark 🤞🏻; one will be more than enough to make me happy! But I know regardless of that, I’m guaranteed to have another great experience!

    Great Way To Spend a Morning

    4 Hour Trip – Ocean Shark AM • 5 adults • 3 children

    We had an incredible day on the water with Captain John and First Mate Landon! They were fantastic hosts, super patient, and especially great with the kids, making sure everyone felt safe, included, and engaged throughout the entire trip. Our haul was full of surprises—we reeled in plenty of little fish, hooked a truly weird-looking creature that kept everyone talking, pulled up a couple of crabs, and even landed a shark! The excitement on the boat was unmatched. It was a memorable adventure from start to finish, and we can’t wait to book our next trip with them!

    The Fishing 🎣 experience that John and Hunter provided was truly remarkable. With spectacular sights of Dolphins and seals. Although the fishing excursion did not result in catching fish we still formed beautiful memories with our family that we will always cherish and treasure. Thank you for making a good experience even better.     all the boys caught something!

    3 Hour Bay Ray Experience • 4 adults • 3 children

    Captain John and crew Hunter were fantastic! We caught our first shark and some other fish! They were great with making sure we had everything we needed. I took my three sons (12,10,8). I highly recommend them for some big fun fish!!! Easy pickup and drop off. entertaining too. boys had a bathroom to use. answered all my kids questions too! We will definitely use them again! He also took pictures and videos of our catch and we were able to keep some of our catch!
