Disappointing and Not worth it…

5 Hour Trip5 adults

We are avid in shore anglers from the area and planned Family 1st annual family guided fishing trip celebrating 3 B days. I had previously asked capt. if he was providing live bait he had said yes and even mentioned we stop and get on way to second spot. The bait provided was frozen and seemed recycled from previous trip. The boat was awesome and spacious smooth boat ride, fishing gear outdated and spools were half filled with line. Our only keepers caught were 4 mangrove snappers under 1lb each, 1 undersize redfish throwback.Very very disappointing trip considering the time of season, seemed effortless and waste of money. Better luck at local seafood market hand picking fish and saving hundreds.

Sorry,there was no live bait available in the morning. I had to buy what was available. The idea of using shrimp was to use the scent of the shrimp as an attractant.

    Best fishing trip to date! We ended up with a mixed bag of black drum, redfish and trout. Overall it was a HOT bite. We had a little while maybe 30-40min that the bite died down then we switched spots and it picked right back up again. Captain Ruben is awesome, very knowledgeable and extremely patient with the novice anglers and kids in our group. We were repeat customers and today just reminded us why we booked him again. Everyone is worn out from all the action and we are looking forward to our next trip with him.

    Another Successful Fishing Trip with Captain Ruben!

    3 Hour Trip • 2 adults

    We booked Captain Ruben for the second time around the same time in August and it was successful fishing again! This time me and my fiancé caught 9 black drum and 4 red drum during a 3 hour morning fishing trip with Captain Ruben. Captain Ruben is so patient, knowledgeable, and will make sure you have a great experience no matter how many times you fish with him. It was so fun and an amazing experience! We will definitely book Captain Ruben again for our next fishing adventure!

    5 Hour Trip • 3 adults

    We had a blast! Captain Ruben with Reel Off Charters kept us on fish all morning! We caught 8 total target fish with 5 keepers. 2 spotted trout, 2 black drum and a big red fish. It was a ton of fun, and my wife’s first time saltwater fishing. We are talking about possibly going again this trip, but we will for sure be going again next summer.

    we arrived very early and Captain Ruben was already there and had the boat launched. we caught 8 different species of fish and one giant black drum. My sons left rod amd reels behind and Ruben actually drove 20 minutes across the island and brought them to us. what a great guy and what great service! He worked his butt off for us!

    A Memorable Fishing Trip

    I booked Captain Garcia for my dad’s birthday trip, and we had an amazing time! Captain Garcia was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to accommodate us. He was also great with the kids, taking the time to teach them how to cast and explaining fish behavior while we were out on the water. It made the experience even more special for everyone. My family and I truly had a blast and look forward to booking with Captain Garcia again in the near future!
