Frank our captain and Miguel our first mate were both super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They spoke great English and even taught us some words in spanish. We caught over 15 fish in 4 hours. All different varieties and sizes. They even filleted the fish for us. Overall a great experience!
Captain Mario and his first mate Chuey was amazing. Had family of four (two teenagers) and we've fished fresh water but never salt before. Did a reef fishing for two hours and then snorkeling. Our cruise ship didn't come in until 8:30am but Mario was flexible to start at 9am for us. Quick taxi and he met us at the marina (easy to find and get to). We had a quick instructions and then off to the fishing spot. Within minutes we were on fish and were having a great time! Overall caught seven fish (one threw back). The fish were all cleaned and then the captain dropped us off at the pier next to the restaurant. We brought the fish to the chef and they made ceviche and grilled fish for us. Was amazing! Highly recommend and when we go back to Cozumel will definitely be booking again!
Mario Emilio with Abrimar Boat Company was amazing. My wife and I had an unforgettable trip with him. We had a family trip with myself, brother-in-law, his son, 10, and my daughter, 9. Captain put us right on fish from the start. Helped the kids make sure they were baited and caught fish as well as helping the adults. We didn't catch anything huge, but caught fish everywhere we went. 20 fish for the day. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely do it again!
This is our second trip to Cozumel and fishing with Captain Mario and his crew. Our teen son loves to reef fish, and we caught so many fish today!! We've fished out of miami several times w professional crews & thoroughly enjoyed our fishing experience...capt & crew were extremely friendly & were so nice to my grandsons We caught 17 fish & they were fileted too...the kids slept on the way in...and we excited all day about their adventures on the boat ride & from the reef fishing spots Very impressed...see u next time we visit this side of peninsula...we live on the other side of Yucatan...son & grandsons in BC Canada.
