Headwaters Lake did not disappoint

4 Hour Trip (AM)2 adults

Captain Bill took my son and I for an amazing day of fishing. 42 bass in the boat including a huge 4lbs 3ozs bass and many 3lbs bass!! What a great way to end our vacation! Excellent guide and Captain with great knowledge of the area. If you’re anywhere in central Florida, check out Captain Bill!!

    My ten year old and I went out with Captain Bill and had intense action for 4 straight hours. 48 in the boat. Several doubles and even a triple. Captain Bill knows where to find then and knows how to get us on them.

    Great Day Fishing with Captain Bill!

    6 Hour Trip • 2 adults

    We had a great day of fishing on Headwaters with Captain Bill, boating over 40 bass! We threw some topwater lures a few places with no takers, but the fish loved the shiners. Jazz got his personal best and I came close. This is also a lovely place for bird and gator watching without any highway or construction noise.

    Great time on the water

    6 Hour Trip • 2 adults • 1 child

    Me and my 11 year old son had a blast catching fish with Captian Justin as our guide. I am glad we opted to go with live bait/ shiners as that brought in the most fish but we did get a few on artificial baits as well. 6 hours trip, almost 20 bass, I lost count. No fish over 4 pounds, but thats kind of how it goes some days. If your thinking of doing this, definitely go for 6 hours. 4 hours went by so fast and I was glad we got the extra time.

    Great Trip! Lots of Bass! Entertaining Captain!

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    Fished with Captain Chris Novak and we put a pretty good hurtin on em’. We probably caught around 25 total (lost count), the biggest just shy of 5 lbs. Chris kept entertained and on our toes with his funny and whitty sense of humor. He was also very flexible and allowed us to fish with live bait and use artificials. My father-in-law and I are excited to go book the trip again next time I’m in town or next time he has family come to visit.

    Last and best minute decision!!!

    We had our grandson in town and he wanted to go fishing. It was a last minute decision and it was fantastic. The Captain was highly knowledgeable and engaging, and very patient with me!! I learned so much. Thank you again Margie Hausmanis
