Very good for new sportfishers with an experienced crew

Full Day trip – Offshore4 adults

The captain and his mate were incredibly kind to us and very helpful for us that were new to sport fishing. Very quickly, they led us onto several sailfish, of which we landed 2 of them. Unfortunately for our trip, we did not land any tuna, but it was definitely not for lack of trying. The captain and his hand worked very hard trying different places, changing tactics, and racing around to new hotspots. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced and hardworking crew.

    A great day had by all!!

    Full Day trip – Inshore • 2 adults

    Oscar and crew took fantastic care of us on our full day offshore fishing trip! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They didn’t waste time with rigging that did not catch fish and changed up the baits often. My wife was a bit inexperienced, and Oscar took the extra time to teach her how to properly use the equipment and reel in a fish. We caught two yellow tail tuna and hooked up on a real nice Billfish. On the way back to the marina I mentioned I would love to catch a rooster fish so Oscar spent some extra time trying to make that happen. Although unsuccessful, the effort was extremely appreciated. We would highly recommend Oscar for your next fishing adventure in Costa Rica!

    The BEST!

    3 Hours inshore fishing • 2 adults

    These guys were so awesome! We could only do a 4hr trip, so the morning started with catching bait, then we went to go get the big guys- really wish we booked a half day!! We caught a red snapper and a rock bass. We were going to grill them at our air bnb but the crew offered to fry it up FOR us!! We came back for dinner and it was the best food our whole trip by far! They then offered us to go to a rodeo with them afterwards, and that was a whole adventure in itself! So kind and hospitable, cannot recommend enough!! 10/10!!!

    inshore fishing

    We wanted a quick inshore trip to catch some fish and it was a successful day with Oscar. If youre not a serious fisherman just looking for a chance at some red snapper, Jack, rooster fish etc. this is a great way to spend a few hours. snacks drinks provided and we caught a spanish mackrel that his crew filleted for us on the water and we caught 3 Jack. overall a great morning!

    Half Day Trip – Inshore Fishing AM • 5 adults • 1 child

    I would highly recommend and will be going again next time we are in town. We were on fish quick and constantly. The deck hand damian was on top of everything and captain was very kind and knowledgeable. They also allowed for time swimming. Pointed out dolphins sea turtles and of course the big sail fish! Fully stocked cooler no complaints. Made life time memories.

    we enjoyed ourselves fishing with Oscar and crew. we caught barracuda, red snapper, jack fish, tuna and almost a rooster fish but it got away at last minute. i would recommend Oscar as he was very helpful to us. it was a beautiful day fishing near quepos. oscar ans the crew knew a lot about fishing and helped those ofus that did not know much about fishing. we enjoyed our day fishing with Oscar!
