what a fantastic trip! Captain Afonso was brilliant! he was very promt and accurate on details for the trip and kept me updated with meeting locations etc.

i booked this 2 hour trip for just myself and my brother and it was exactly what i was looking for who is a keen angler.

Captain Afonso took us out in the boat and we had caught goodsized fish within the first 10 minutes of casting!

The captain is extremely knowledgable and experienced of the species and the waters.

we fished with lures and sardines as bait and caught fish with both!
i would highly recommend this trip for btoh experienced anglers and novices.

my only regret is that we booked a 2 hour session instead of a longer 4 or 6 hour session. A longer session is definitely worth the money !

Captain Afonso also gave us recommendations for good local places of interest including food and sightseeing!

Our trip with Afonso was unforgettable. Not only did we catch a live well full of fish, but had a great time with the Captain as well. Alfonso was highly knowledgeable making for a very successful Trip. My friends and I all work on fishing boats and were highly impressed with the way Afonso ran his charter. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get on some fish while in lisbon!

Eventhough a bit windy, captain managed to bring us to his sercret spot and with his professional help, the result is very satisfied catching… we caught 3 big fish, and brought the smaller one to be cooked by reasturante recommended by captain… so delicious… without him we would not be able to find such resturante with yummy seafood!  Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful sunny morning in mid-October, probably one of the last warm days of the year — a perfect opportunity to sail along the Tagus River and enjoy some fishing. For us, one adult and two kids, it was a truly memorable experience. We caught several fish and soaked up the morning sun in a peaceful and fun setting. We booked two fishing trips with Captain Afonso in Lisbon as a group of five, most of us with no prior fishing experience. Both times were fantastic! On our first trip, conditions were tough with lots of wind and waves, and we only caught two small sea trout. Still, Afonso kept the atmosphere fun, explained the basics of fishing, and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The boat and gear are more than sufficient and well suited for the sea.

What really impressed us was Afonso himself - he’s a generous, great guy. Since our first trip wasn’t very successful (as fishing is always a gamble), he offered us a second trip at only the cost of the fishing license. That time we had incredible success, catching plenty of fish, with the highlight being a Kruger fish.
All in all, a great experience with a captain who truly cares about his guests. Highly recommended!
