The fish weren’t even biting today but Captain Jorge used his local expertise to try and get us onto at least one fish. Turns out that one fish was a tuna just under 200lbs! They were focused on making sure we enjoyed our trip and they were really invested in doing whatever they could to find fish before the end of our trip. We will be back, and we will only go with them.

Great cruising along the coastline while we were trawling.  This private charter gave us yet another beautiful view of Sao Miguel from the water.  Perfect for a family activity.  Captain Jorge and first mate were adamant that each member of our family have the chance to reel in a catch.  They were patient and taught teenagers and grandparents alike how to read the fish finder and reel in our catch - triggerfish, white sea bream and grouper - large enough to keep.  Would definitely recommend! ... What an absolutely unforgettable half-day on the water on the Raiado. Our captain, Jorge, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and super passionate about fishing. He put us right on the big-eye tuna, and at one point we had a quadruple hookup with four massive tuna on the lines at once! Great trip with Jorge and Pedro who tried everything to bring us to the fish. It was a slow day and no bites durung our 8 hour trip. Nevertheless I recommend the trip, as both Jorge and Pedro were very professional and very nice company, also for my sons. Looking forward to another trip with them with hopefully more fishing luck.
