That first 30-minute fight sounds like a serious one. The ones that break off are always the hardest to forget. Still, landing two barracudas and getting more action is a solid day on the water.

Snorkeling off the Tulum Ruins and seeing turtles and rays is always a special way to finish.

We’re also happy you liked the equipment — we do our best to keep everything in top shape. And that mahi fillet moment with the other crew? That’s the spirit out there.

We’ll be happy to have you back anytime. The reef will be waiting.

We’re truly happy to hear this was your favorite ocean fishing experience, that means a lot. Captain Robert will absolutely love the comparison… Steve Irwin meets Chris Pontius meets David Attenborough might be the best description he’s ever received haha!

He’s incredibly passionate about the Caribbean reef, the local history, and of course dialing in the right bait and trolling technique to stay consistently hooked up. Sounds like those barracudas showed up ready to play — and that 5-foot, 65-pound cuda is a serious catch. What a day.
