Your captain for the day is a former tournament angler and commercial fisherman with over 4 decades of experience fishing off the coast of South Africa. When it comes to big fish, Capt. Roger knows where they’re hiding and he’s got the right set of skills to pull ‘em out of the water.

Your boat for the day is a 36’ KingFisher offshore vessel, equipped with all the amenities you need for a successful day of fishing. She comes with state-of-the-art navigational electronics, fishing gear, and safety equipment, as well as a flybridge, private toilet, kitchen, and a bed.

The cabin has comfortable seating for everyone to sit back and enjoy the ride while you cruise to and from the fishing grounds. Her deck accommodates up to 6 guests and children above the ages of 6 are welcome aboard.

The months between October and May are extremely productive off of Western Cape’s southern coast and these waters provide excellent Tuna fishing opportunities. Your main targets will be various types of Tuna, including Skipjack, Albacore, Bigeye, and Yellowfin Tuna. You may also encounter other species, including Yellowtail Amberjack, Marlin, and Mahi Mahi.

Capt. Roger provides his guests with top-of-the-line Shimano and Daiwa tackle on all of his trips. Catch cleaning services are also included in the price, so you can have your fish filleted after the trip.
