Capt. Johnny will meet you at Tawakoni Marina 2201 Rabbit Cove Rd and take you on his 26' JC Tritoon boat. This pontoon accommodates up to 7 guests and it's very spacious, so there's enough room for everyone to fish at the same time. Thanks to the flat surface of the pontoon boat, it's easy for people in wheelchairs to move around.
You'll mainly target Channel and Blue Catfish, which are good eating sizes and also admirable trophies. Once you find a good spot, you'll anchor down and fish close to the aquatic vegetation. . You can keep the catch after the trips and the captain will clean it for you.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered. Before the trip, you need to sort out a few things – purchase your fishing license, prepare snacks and drinks, wear warm clothes, and bring a cooler where you can stash your catch.

Our family was scheduled to meet at marina at 5:30am and depart at 5:45. Our family enjoyed a scenic drive while watching deer and arrived about 30 minutes early and we left right away with rain forecasted for the day. We avoided the rain and ended the day around 11:45 or so with 50 keepers and many more catfish that we threw back. As we approached the boat slip, the captain and deck hand prepared our fish to go home. Would definitely book again with these guys. If you’re cold natured bring a hoodie. Also don’t forget to bring your own snacks and drinks. Super kid friendly!
We had an excellent guided catfishing trip on Lake Tawakoni with a party of four. The guides took care of everything—baiting, hooking, and later cleaning all the fish. The meeting spot was convenient and easy to find, and the guide was professional and quick to respond with all communication details. They were friendly and easy to talk to, which made the trip comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. Everything went smoothly and exactly as expected. Highly recommend.

My wife and I hadn't fished in 15 years. Johnny was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took us to the good spots and we caught a lot of fish. He's the ideal guide for children, all the way up to experienced fishermen. Thanks Johnny! We'll be back...
Caught a lot fish, despite the overcast and the winds. Captain and his deck hand was very tentative to our needs. I would definitely go back and would recommend their service to anyone.
