With Captain Norbert Gutierrez, you can fish nearshore, the backcountry, rivers, and other fish-rich locations embraced by beautiful nature. If you're just making your first steps as a saltwater angler, the captain will be happy to show you the ropes and introduce you to the wonderful world of saltwater fishing. Pick a day and hop aboard for your next fishing adventure in Texas!
The boat you'll use is a 23' Freedom Warrior bay boat that can safely fit up to 4 guests. Thanks to the 250 HP Tohatsu engine as well as GPS and fishfinder technology, you will quickly reach your fishing spots. The boat comes with a wireless trolling motor and livewell.
You and the crew will be mainly fishing for Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. The techniques you can expect to use are light tackle, trolling, spinning, popping, as well as drift fishing. You're free to keep your catch if you want to. The crew can clean it for you at the end of the trip, at no extra charge.
Captain Norbert supplies all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Before you come aboard, make sure to bring some snacks and drinks as well as your fishing licenses. Kids are also welcome to join your trip, feel free to bring them along.

Our family of 4 had a fun half day out on the water with Captain Norbert. His boat is quite comfortable, with padded seating for 4 and even cup holders for the back seats. Norbert is a really nice guy and very helpful. We even had a bonus sighting of several pods of dolphins, which the kids loved. We will be back to fish with Norbert again in the future!
Had an absolute blast learning more about salt fishing in Matagotlrdo. Cpt. Norbert is very knowledgeable and good people. We caught a 25" and two 21" trout as our biggest pulls. The whole experience was great and we loved it. Will definitely book again!
Cpt Norbert was a great guide and very personable. We got a verity of fish and will be using him again.
