You depart at 8:30 a.m. and arrive back in Hout Bay between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. The maximum number of guests is 10 unless booked specifically for fishing. The cruise speed will be 12 to 18 knots depending on the weather and sea conditions.

The waters around Robben Island are at times incredibly rich with nutrients attracting massive schools of bait fish. These and certain water temperatures will bring hungry Yellowtail and Snoek. Catching a specimen or two of Bream if the water is too cold is just good clean fun. Robben Island is one of South Africa's national treasures and is visited by tens of thousands of tourists every year. Leaving from Hout Bay to fish Robben Island quickly becomes a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Dropping anchor at Bantry Bay for a quick swim and a bite to eat is always great fun. Along the whole route, you will be viewing South Africa's most iconic destinations. Returning to Hout Bay, you and the crew will head directly back to Chapman's Peak for a group photo and return into Hout Bay Harbour along Hout Bay's Beach. Often you will pass groups of whales, schools of dolphins, sunfish, and many pelagic birds. While the crew cleans your fish, the local restaurant is great to regroup and will even cook your catch to perfection at a reasonable rate. Note that pre-booking for this is essential.

A few things you should know. Certain weather patterns and fish intel may re-route your Seafari south to Cape Point. Captain James will always communicate with you and offer choices based on the best fish intel and of course keeping you and your group safe.

Please note that due to major fuel increase we will be charging a surcharge as to below schedule :
Light Tackle Seafari: R13,850 (Levy: R1000)
Robben Island Seafari: R22,500 (Levy: R1500)
