Full Day Trip on January 3, 2026 • 2 adultsMy Wife and I had a great time on the water, the fishing was slow but it's called fishing and not catching for a reason! Captain Juan and Mate Nesmer were awesome! Nesmer and I chatted all day like we were old friends, they made us feel very comfortable and asking often if we needed anything like snacks, drinks, food, etc. I caught a beautiful Sailfish, we had several Wahoo bites and I also caught a Skipjack. It is one of the smaller offshore boats but 2 of us were very comfortable and it had a toilet which is a bonus! Overall fantastic day! Thank you Juan and Nesmer!

Our family had an amazing 3/4-day fishing trip with Tamarindo Surf & Sport! Captain Juan and Kendall were outstanding from start to finish. They worked incredibly hard to keep us on fish while making sure everyone had a fun and memorable experience. The action was fantastic—we caught yellowfin tuna, red snapper, triggerfish, grouper, and black tuna. As if the fishing wasn’t enough, we were also treated to incredible wildlife sightings, including dolphins swimming alongside the boat and sea turtles along the way. Captain Juan’s knowledge of the local waters and Kendall’s constant help with baiting hooks, landing fish, and keeping everything organized made the trip enjoyable for the entire family. They were patient, professional, and genuinely wanted us to have a great day. If you’re looking for a first-class fishing charter in Tamarindo, we highly recommend Tamarindo Surf & Sport. Outstanding day on the water! Juan and Kendall know their business. We caught a variety of palegic fish. i dont normally leave reviews, but this crew deserves a shout out. within 20 mins of leaving the marina, we were at the fishing grounds and had fish on the line. Cannot wait to roll with these guys again!
