He provides an enjoyable day of fishing on the Currituck and Albemarle Sounds. All trips are kid and family-friendly and focused on having a fun and safe day on the water.
With convenient pickup locations right there in Duck, the captain's goal is to keep you out of traffic and on the water longer. Pickups are also available at the Sound Park in Harbinger, NC.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Striped Bass, White Perch, Flounder, Black Drum, and plenty more.
You’ll find new Penn reels, rods, and quality tackle will be provided. The charter will provide ice on board to keep your catch cool and fresh.
Feel free to bring plenty of snacks and drinks to enjoy your day on the sounds of the Outer Banks. Due to fishing in Joint Waters, individual CRFL fishing licenses will be required (available online). Youth anglers under 16 are exempt from the license requirement.

We moved around to three spots, and the last one hit big. We caught a large speckled trout, flounder and striper's. My son in-law and I had a great time in the Currituck sound and would highly recommend Captain Walker!

The captain was patient and very helpful with our 2 boys and did everything possible to make sure we caught some fish. We learned a lot and would do it again in a heartbeat! Half Day Morning Trip (AM) on June 4, 2026 • 2 adultsWe booked 2 trips with Capt Griggs and we had a great time! Conditions were kinda rough the first day, but he still managed to find us some fish. The second day was better! We caught Blue fish, a big Speckled Trout and a huge Red Drum! Even found a few Largemouth Bass. We'll book with Walker again for sure!

Took my 2 kiddos out with Captain Walker. We had a great time boating around a bit, hitting several spots to see what fish we could find. The fish were proving to be stubborn and not very interested in hitting anything we threw at them, but Captain Walker didn't give up. We tried a bunch of spots and ended up catching at least 2 fish each, thanks to Captain Walker! We worked hard for those fish, but just being out on the water with a friendly, dedicated captain made for a great day with the kids. The boat itself is a great size and well-maintained too! We were able to quickly and comfortably get around and had plenty of room when we got to each spot.

Captain Walker was great! He worked hard to keep us on the fish and the effort paid off. Boat and gear were in great condition. Most importantly, he was really patient and gave my 7 year old daughter a lot of positive compliments. She's not 100% new to fishing but still learning every time we get on the water. She asks a ton of questions, not all fishing related, and he handled it all like a champ. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with him.

Walker was great in every way. He was very patient and helpful with my kids, was very punctual and professional and put us on some fish, a few of which were keepers. Definitely plan on doing it again with him next year. Highly recommend.
