We had an incredible morning fishing with Captain Cruise (5 hour). The fishing was phenomenal—we brought in four mahi-mahi, an ono, and a tuna! Captain Cruise is a total pro; he’s extremely knowledgeable about different techniques, the land and water. He was a friendly, accommodating guide throughout the trip. The absolute highlight, however, was when seven humpback whales surfaced right next and under our boat. It was a massive adrenaline rush and something we’ll never forget. After the trip, Captain Cruise filleted the mahi for us, and we made fresh poke and fish tacos back at our condo. The mahi tacos freshness and kiss of the grill were the best our group has ever had. We had an amazing day. Kevin and Cruz were truly pleasant, passionate, and professional. I had an unforgettable experience, and thanks to their experience we managed to bring a wahoo onboard—even while it was being attacked by a shark at the same time. Without their expertise, it would have been impossible. I highly recommend Bob Marlin Charters. My only regret is not having booked more than 5 hours—or more than one day—out on the water, and not having had the chance to leave them a bigger tip because they absolutely deserved it.

Our fishing trip with Captain Danny and deckhand JT was nothing short of incredible! As newlyweds from South Dakota, we were looking for a fun and memorable experience, and this trip exceeded all expectations. Captain Danny and JT were not only extremely knowledgeable but also friendly and hilarious, making the trip even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, and thanks to their expertise, we landed a super rare billfish—definitely a once-in-a-lifetime catch! As if that wasn’t enough, we were also lucky enough to see whales along the way, which completely saved us from booking a separate whale-watching tour. It was an all-in-one adventure that we’ll never forget! If you’re looking for the best fishing experience out there, this is it. Captain Danny was amazing. He was courteous and welcoming from the moment we stepped on the boat to the time we were walking up the dock with our catch. He gave us a solid safety briefing and then explained where we were headed and what we would be fishing for and made it very clear what to expect once we hooked into a fish. Out on the water, Capt. Danny put us on the fish right away—we had our first marlin aboard within the first hour. We continued to hook several other fish throughout the day and the whole time Capt. Danny kept the experience fun and stress free. Back at the dock, Capt. Danny was a master at filleting our catch and made sure we went home with a packed cooler. This trip was nothing short of a perfect day of fishing out on the open ocean!

Pat had a minor problem with the Ty rod between both motors (easy fix) I broke in the Harbor coming back.

My family and I had a great experience with Captain Adam and JT. They took great care of us and we caught four fish on a half-day charter. My son really wanted to catch a mahi mahi and we did! We originally booked the smaller boat but the larger boat became available so they offered us an upgrade. I'm glad we decided to opt for the larger boat because it was a windy day and we were able to go out further. Definitely recommend!
