Yellowtail Charters – Yellow Tail II 34'
Booked with us before? You may qualify for a Loyalty Discount. Sign in to check.
Spend the day with Yellowtail Charters and let Captains Shalako and Koren show you what makes the fishing in Nassau so memorable!
Species like Black Grouper, Bonito, Lionfish, Bigeye Tuna, Great Barracuda, Sailfish, African Pompano Jack, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Your excursion begins aboard a 34' Tiara sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Yellowtail Charters!

I took my wife and two boys (15yo and 12yo) everyone had a great time we caught several Barracuda, snapper, mackerel and Jack. The Captain Arthur Moxey and Mate Thor and Robbie were amazing all we had to do was reel in the fish. Once we arrived back at the doc Mate Thor and Robbie escorted us to Margaritaville and explained to them how we wanted our catch to be cooked. Thank you to Yellowtail for a great time.
This was my first time fishing in the Bahamas. I had a lot of fun. We caught the mahi we were going for. We might have hooked another fish before the mahi, but when we reeled it in, there was nothing on the line but seaweed. The captain and crew seemed very capable and knowledgeable. I'd go again given the chance, but I'd probably take a larger boat next time. The water was pretty choppy that day and a couple of us had a tough time with that. I'd plan on taking ginger or dramamine with us next time too. They fileted half the fish which we promptly took to Margaritaville and had cooked. It was delicious.

Yes you caught your Mahi. The waters choppy but you guys are troopers. Thanks for the awesome review
Crew worked hard to make sure we had a great day. Caught a barracuda right off the bat and then 8 yellowtail snapper and another barracuda. Just missed bringing in a decent sized grouper before it swam under the reef. We stayed inshore to at least catch something and make sure my son had a good time. Would like to come back and go offshore to take a stab at MahiMahi or larger fish like Wahoo. Boat was nice - would come back and spend a day with them again.

Frank it was an day fishing. Thanks for fishing with us!
Captain and 1st mate made us all feel welcome on board. We'd do this again. We booked this for our port day and it was a very easy walk off cruise ship to dock. We had spotty wifi service while on our cruise but the crew gave perfect directions (in advance to boarding our cruise ship) to the pick up spot, so when we arrived in port we knew exactly where to go — no stress. Crew was great with our 3 kids; helped as needed but also let them be as hands-on as they were comfortable being. We caught fish of various sizes, got lots of photos with our catch and even saw a few celeb homes along the way. Half-day length of charter was perfect.

Valerie it was pleasure fishing with you guys. Please come again!

This was an awesome trip with my son. We went reef fishing and caught a handful of fighting fish. Would definitely tour on the Yellowtail II again.

It was definitely fighting fish We can not wait to fish with you guys again. Thanks for the recommendation
