They offer you the unique opportunity to experience the beautiful surroundings from the water while catching a huge variety of fish in these productive waters.
The boat is a 28' MaxLane aluminum boat that offers a very smooth ride to and from the fishing grounds. There is ample seating on board and the deck is covered by an extensive shade canopy for comfort. The vessel also features a toilet on board. The boat was restored in 2017 to keep it in top fishing condition, and it features a VHF radio for communication with the shore at all times.
Sigatoka Fishing Charters have built up a reputation for putting their guests on fish, and always make sure they are having a great time while they're at it. The company specializes in trolling with lures and bait for species such as Sailfish, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Spanish Mackerel. They also bottom fish over the reefs for Snapper and other bottom-dwelling species.
Everything you need to fish is included in the price of the trip. Families with children are always welcome and children under 12 fish for free with 2 paying adults.

From the go the boys had a plan of attack based on their combined knowledge and didn't waste time in locating the fish putting us on them and then keeping us on them until we couldn't any longer.
They were both so enthusiastic and helpful when it came to all aspects of the day they made you feel comfortable and not pressured. At the end they organised extra ice buckets etc. So that we could take the fish that we wanted back to our resort and leave them with the rest. All in all it was an unbelievable experience and I would highly recommend going with them, can't wait till next time and go and try targeting the GT.

Great first trip!

This was our first fishing adventure. I know that sometimes you catch something and other times you go all day with no catch. We were lucky with our Captain Manasa and Mala! They were knowledgeable, patient, and determined to help us have a wonderful experience. Our first catch of the day was a 66 lb yellow fin tuna which was incredible! Mala did amazing helping us reel it in. The next catch was a skipjack tuna! So for our first fishing excursion I'd say this was pretty great. I thought we would bring the majority of the fish back to the hotel to cook and share with the staff however when it came to it, the men on land said, "how much do you want to take?" I guess I should have been more firm in saying I wanted to take most of it but they did cut us a piece to bring back. I asked what would happen to the rest of the fish and the man cutting it said I could give it to their village or give it to the captain and crew. I hope that the crew got the majority since they did the most work but either way, I hope someone enjoyed it!

From booking to pickup at our resort, transport to the boat and the day on the water we had the best day! the crew did everything they could to accommodate us and made our day really enjoyable ! The 3 yellow fin were just a bonus! The cherry in top though was that they organised for our catch to be cooked at a local restaurant for us for dinner! It was really amazing! Cant wait to come back and do it all again!

Trevally and Spanish Mackrel OH YEAH!!

This was a great charter. I was the only one on the boat and after a short while I was on with a Trevally before grabbing a 10kg Spanish Mackrel. The skipper was very knowledgeable and knew the right spots to fish. I'd recommend this charter to anyone.

Big thanks to Mala and Georgie. we had a great day out and they were very focussed on making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. We caught our first ever yellowfin which was super exciting and they organised for it to get cooked for us by flying fin restaurant which was absolutely amazing - they served it 5 ways with top service. Huge thanks to all we had a great day out 😃
