David Bruiners specializes in fishing the waters around the Eastern Cape, Southern Cape, Western Cape and invites you along for a trip to remember.
You won't have to travel far to fish these inshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Your guide specializes in light tackle fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. You may also jig, spin for your catch. David will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait if you require otherwise you are welcome to bring your own tackle.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Shad, Kob, Musselcracker, Leerfish (Garrick), Yellowtail Amberjack, Flathead Grey Mullet, Javelin Grunter, Hammerhead Shark, Skate, and whatever else takes the bait.
Any keeper fish caught during the trip are yours to keep. David can even clean your catch for you so it's hassle-free when you get home. That's dinner, right there! Groups of up to 6 are welcome on these excursions. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.
Expect to get in touch with David before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the guide and David will help you follow local regulations. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses, rain or shine.
David will have some snacks and drinks for you.
