Welcome to Ocean Nomad Charters! We’re a newly established charter company with more than 20 years of extensive experience fishing South African waters, especially around Cape Town. Captain Will and our crew have a deep love for the ocean, and we can’t wait to share that passion with you.
Cape Town’s incredible tuna fishing grounds make every offshore trip an adventure, with some tuna reaching up to 100 kg. For us, there’s nothing quite like searching for big tuna, spotting signs of feeding fish, and hearing a reel start screaming. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or heading offshore for the first time, we want you to feel part of the action.
Our 37.5-foot motor yacht is built for offshore conditions and offers plenty of comfort for up to six guests, with a flybridge, onboard bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. From experienced anglers casting poppers from the front deck to beginners picking up a rod for the first time, she’s an ideal boat for sharing the excitement of offshore fishing. We use only the best fishing equipment, with all rods, reels, and lures provided. Families and children are welcome!
We’re a fun crew who love a good laugh, and we work hard for our guests. From finding the fish to helping you through the fight, we put our energy into giving you the best possible experience. We also have a powerful speaker on board, so if you fancy some music along the way, bring your favourite tunes!

- First mate (Meet Mathew, our First Mate! With over 15 years working on boats and experience as a surf-camp instructor, he loves fishing, surfing, diving and marine wildlife. Always up for a laugh, he’s here to share his love of the ocean with you.)
