Outrageous Fishing - Depth Charge
If you are looking to battle some exciting pelagics like Yellowtail, and Cape Salmon, you have found the right place. Head down to Simon's town and Granger Bay and join Outrageous Fishing to run deep and master your cast!
Check the bite close to shore and get your hands on Yellowtail and Snoek. Hit the reefs in and around Cape Point, Robben Island (Atlantic Ocean), and False Bay (Indian Ocean) for the likes of Red Roman, Cape Salmon, Cob, and Hottenton.
Spend your day enjoying the inshore bite. Don't forget to bring your younger anglers with you – the crew will gladly teach them to not only be fishermen but also how to take care of the ocean and the underwater life.
Outrageous Fishing operates a 18' Ace Craft boat, fully refurbished in 2018. This spacious vessel can cruise at a top speed of 30 knots thanks to its twin 100 HP Yamaha engines.
The boat is surveyed and approved by SAMSA and rigged with modern navigational and fishfinding electronics to build up a clear image of where the fish are hiding. It is also outfitted with the finest reels by Shimano for your pleasure and an array of professional accessories. The only thing that's missing is you!
All trips come with the use of conventional gear, tackle, bait, lures, and a complimentary cleaning service of whatever you will be eating. Please, bring your own spearfishing and fly fishing equipment.

Brought my 18-year-old son to Botswana and South Africa with me as a high school graduation present. The one thing he most wanted to do was ocean fishing in Cape Town. We found Outrageous Fishing Charters online and reached out through the Fishing Booker website and app. Byron answered multiple questions and set up the perfect trip for us. We caught fish the entire time we were out. We are not experienced fishermen, but the crew patiently taught us what to do. Kudos to Byron and staff for first-rate customer service.

Good evening Chris. We are so happy to have had you and your son join us. I am so glad that the experience with us was the highlight of your Africa adventure. We look forward to hosting you again soon Yours in fishing Byron Ashington
What a great day out. I went with my two boys 16 and 13. Mike and Francois were very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and were terrific with the boys. We all caught yellow tale, got to see some beautiful wild life and take in the scenery. We were given advice on what to take for sea sickness, thankfully we didn't need it. After our adventure and Mike's recipe ideas we got to enjoy our catch at home. Mike even checked that we made it home okay as we did have a long drive back to Fisherhaven. Thanks again guys for a memorable day out. We'll definitely book again!

Good day Elaine, I hope you and your boys enjoyed the experience with us and hope you enjoyed your meal afterwards. We look forward to having you join us on board sometime soon. Travel safely
What I really appreciated with Marius and Francois was their honesty (fishing conditions were tough) and their commitment (they would their best to put me on the fish). I wasn't disappointed - we caught about 4 species (2 were new to me but on my bucket list). Some nice size specimens. Lots of fish and tight lines. The trip was great and I will do it again in the summer - targeting different species in what has to be one the most beautiful parts of the world. Richard Boys

Good morning Richard Thanks for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed your morning with us, and look forward to having you join us on board in summer for the game fish Keep well Regards Byron
Francois and Gabriel provided an incredible day on the water - all in all we caught 6 yellowtail and a handful of reef fish. Along the way we got to see penguins, seals, dolphins, and more - with seals snatching the fish off our line multiple times and running away with it. All in all a wonderful experience and we hope to come back sooner than later! Thank you team!

Good evening Lev Glad to hear that you have had a great time with our team. We look forward to having you join us on your return to Cape Town in the near future. Safe travels and see you soon Regards Byron Ashington
We had a truly wonderful day out on the water. Both the captain and the skipper were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout the trip. We caught plenty of beautiful small- and medium-sized fish, which made the experience really enjoyable. The highlight of the day was getting to see many whales and dolphins up close — an unforgettable and breathtaking moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and memorable fishing adventure!

Hi Filippo, Our crew enjoyed having you both join us today. We look forward to having you join us again, next time you visit Cape Town. Enjoy the rest of your travels and keep safe
