A full complement of electronics and fish-finding equipment is on board, so you can get on top of the fish with the maximum efficiency. She's also inspected yearly by the South African Maritime Association – your safety is the skipper's first priority.
Delon Walker will be your skipper and instructor on this amazing fishing adventure in South Africa. He's been fishing since he was 3 years old and it's his pleasure to put you on the hottest bite. And there's quite a lot that's biting off the coast of Cape Town too!
If you want to surprise your family with fishing and cruising, the 5-hour trip combines the best of both worlds. You'll wet some lines while Delon takes you from one amenity to the other and you can take pictures of the famous furry seals and other unique wildlife.
Maybe offshore reel-screaming action is more your style? The full day trip will see you cast off and head out 40 miles offshore in pursuit of Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, as well as Skipjack Tuna and Bigeyes. You can also hook up a Mako Shark or Blue Marlin.
A bit closer to the shore you will go after Yellowtail Amberjack. Make sure you hold on to your rod tightly, they're some of the fiercest fighters pound-for-pound. Many more species can be targeted, ask Delon what he recommends, based on your skill level.
Stop dreaming of that all-in-one excursion and book a trip with Heliox Fishing Charter!

We hooked up 5 fish on 5 poles right from the start. Landed all 5 long fin tuna with the help of captain Delon. We caught 2 50-60lb yellowfin after that and a skipjack tuna later in the day. It was an awesome trip overall and captain Delon made sure we all had fun the whole time.

That is right it was a awesome day , and hope to see you soon.

The charter operator canceled 2 days prior to the trip date. This is an automated posting.

It was a great day of fishing full of experiences. What I really appreciated is that Delon doesn't look at his watch if the day's target (a big tuna) hasn't been reached yet. Good communication in advance is a matter of course for him.

What a great day. Next time for the super big tuna.
They Write is a Message if we Not want to do Tuna fisching it cost the Double that before and we asked him if this is also something for a 13 year old Boy an he Said Yes but it was Not when they asked you do it only if you a very good and strong angler this is a very tuff thing and its Not easy they were Not Nice when we Said that that isn't something for us Theo were Not understanding !!!

Yes I think you are right you did not understand me and i did not understand you. But the point was s you asked me can you go catch tuna. And yes you got 2 tuna. I am not sure what is the problem. It was a good day and and you wanted to leave early and i made it all possible for you
A bit of buyer beware, sorry for the long read We were told to meet the boat at 7am which we showed up to on time only for the crew to tell us that the tide was too low to go out yet. Which was fine, so we waited 30-45 minutes when they decided to launch the boat. The crew then got the boat trailer and truck stuck in the launch. This took 2 hours for them to get the truck and trailer out which we had to wait for it to be done before we could leave. Once the truck was out the crew tried to take off and the one motor would not work. So they spent the next hour trying to get the motor work. Once we had almost gave up the motor took off and we got going. So we started fishing just after 11am. We fished until 2 pm and unfortunately did not catch anything. I am fully aware that you can go out and not catch anything. The boat and crew were both good once we got going but this is where I have a huge issue. I lost half a day of fishing because of the boat and was still charged full price. When I asked the crew if we could work out a deal they said there was not much they could do because it was not their boat. After we left I contacted the owner and told him I was not happy he still charged me full price for half a day of fishing. He gave no option of giving my money back. He did say though that he would give me a 4 hours free fishing with him. I asked when that would be since I don't live in Cape. He said he would phone me and we would work out a time. I never got a call and it has been over a week. I get you don't always catch fish. I was more than happy to pay for the time we were on the boat and don't expect to have a whole day of free fishing because of issues that could happen to anyone. But when you charge full price and not fulfill your obligations and then ghost me when you say you going to make it right is a real unprofessional move. So for this I would not recommend this boat.
