Heliox Fishing Charter – Cape Town
Whether you’re looking to spice up your visit to Cape Town with some fishing or you’re chasing that new personal best across the globe, Heliox Fishing Charter is at your service!
Start your Cape Town fishing adventure on board their 25’ Carry Cat, the “Heliox.” She’s purpose-built so you can target fish in a 360-degree angle around the boat. A full complement of electronics and fish-finding equipment is on board, so you can get on top of the fish with the maximum efficiency. She’s also inspected yearly by the South African Maritime Association – your safety is the skipper’s first priority.
Delon Walker will be your skipper and instructor on this amazing fishing adventure in South Africa. He’s been fishing since he was 3 years old and it’s his pleasure to put you on the hottest bite. And there’s quite a lot that’s biting off the coast of Cape Town too!
If you want to surprise your family with fishing and cruising, the 5-hour trip combines the best of both worlds. You’ll wet some lines while Delon takes you from one amenity to the other and you can take pictures of the famous furry seals and other unique wildlife.
Maybe offshore reel-screaming action is more your style? The full day trip will see you cast off and head out 40 miles offshore in pursuit of Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, as well as Skipjack Tuna and Bigeyes. You can also hook up a Mako Shark or Blue Marlin.
A bit closer to the shore you will go after Yellowtail Amberjack. Make sure you hold on to your rod tightly, they’re some of the fiercest fighters pound-for-pound. Many more species can be targeted, ask Delon what he recommends, based on your skill level.
Stop dreaming of that all-in-one excursion and book a trip with Heliox Fishing Charter!
