Any day fishing is a good day and even better when you’re catching! Nothing of size on our trip but enough action to get the excitement up! Saw sailfish on the top water but nothing biting. The conditions were good but it was exceedingly hot. Catch was as expected for a short near-shore excursion. Looking forward to coming back during the rainy season to go after big Blues!

We do a lot of fresh water fishing back home in Canada but never had the fun of reeling in a 45 pound Mahi Mahi who fights you all the way! So much fun. We'll be talking about this for years to come. You know how fishing stories just get better and better every time they're told.

Save your money and select a half-day of fishing in the morning.
We had a great time and enjoyed the morning. The afternoon was hot and boring. The lesson learned - fish a half-day and in the morning. This was confirmed by many of the locals after our trip.
