After about 2 hours trolling with no luck, we finally caught a mahi-mahi and a mackerel. The captain directed us to a restaurant right on the beach…it was perfect!! Thanks to the Big Marlin team for making our experience very memorable!

Had a wonderful time and experience. Both captain Richard and first mate Andy were very knowledgeable and professional. We spent 6 hours with them catching mahi mahi. Very exciting. They had excellent tackle, good fresh bate and worked hard to make sure we brought home fish. Thank you.

Great fishing trip, from working with Francisco to the captain & the crew. Worth the trip. The energy from the crew and positivity of catching even on a rough second day due to weather. Highly recommend fishing with these guys. Will for sure be fishing with these guys again in august (2023).

Didnt catch a lot of fish but the first mate was fantastic keeping my 3 boys entertained. It was a great half day out on the ocean.

A beautiful day on the water, we reeled in 2 Barracudas within the first 2 hours, and enjoyed a wonderful day on the water. The boat was in great shape, all rods, reels, and bait were well kept and our deck hand was attentive and very knowledgeable. The captain was welcoming and also attentive to us the entire trip. Transportation to and from in a luxurious van, from start to finish an incredible trip!

Big group of 14 People with 2 boats operated by "Big Marlin" provided an excellent experience, booking process very easy, pick up was on time, both Fortuna and Sherlock crew did an awesome job. We had to cancel the 3rd boat since the other 4 people couldn't make it to PUJ 5 days before and the deposit was fully refunded and Yustas fully understood. Total fished 6 mahi mahi or dorado. Recommend any of the 3 boats from Big Marlin.

First mate Eddy made the trip. He was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining and worked hard to make sure all the boys got hooked up. Lots of Mahi Mahi, we will be back soon to get our Marlin though!

Great experience! Didn’t have the best of luck but Captain Willie and Eddie still got us a mahi mahi. Eddie was great and made sure we had fun. Would recommend!

We had a great trip out fishing near Punta Cana. A highlight for both of us was having a white marlin on line-although it got off it was really awesome to see the marlin jumping in the waves. We each caught a nice mahi mahi. Definitely will be a highlight of our trip to DR!

Everything from the beginning to the end was great! Pick up on time caught 8 mahi mahi and took two filets to the hotel for an excellent dinner!

We went on a 4 hour trip and had a blast on the water and with our crew! We had some awesome catches ! Even caught a Marlin but he got away on us and snapped the line! A+++ and highly recommend this charter . Definitely a honey moon excursion we will never forget :) thank you for an awesome day !

I wanna start off by saying thankyou to the crew they were awesome! This was my wife and I’s big game fishing trip! While we were waiting for a bite we drank and shared life experiences. It was really cool to hear the some history of the D.R and the crews story. If your in the Dominican I would recommend Big Marlin Charters to anyone!

We did the 6 hour trip on gone dog and had a blast. The crew went above and beyond to get on fish and worked non stop the whole trip. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely book another trip with them next time in in the d.r.
