I think we had a unique experience for April. It was HOT! 97 degrees which made the water temp higher for this time of year and the wind was pretty wicked which forced us to stay in shallows. But, weather is out of our control and with that aside we had an amazing day on the water!
Sunscreen and sun protection.
Even if you’re an experienced fisherman, listen to your guide. They watch the water flow, temps, tides etc. and they fish those waters everyday.

Perfect morning trip. Jason took us to several different spots as we searched out different fish. Caught sea trout, houndfish, redfish, and one sting ray. Jason was very informative about the bait, techniques, and fish. We had a blast and will book with Jason on our next trip to the area.

Captain Jason was great to work with. I booked our trip in January for a charter in April. He kept in contact with me about how fishing was and adjusted our time as our trip got closer to lineup with the best fishing times. JC was great, we met him right on time, he had everything we needed. He never made us feel rushed or stressed. He was very friendly and personable. He was great with our boys (ages 16 and 13). He was just as excited as we were when we hooked each and every fish. He made the trip so much fun and he was a great person to talk to and get to know during the trip. We will absolutely book with him the next time we are in town! A+, great captain, highly recommend!

We had a great day fishing as a family. We all caught fish and got to catch a variety of fish. We even got to take some home to eat (delish!). He was knowledgeable, patient with the kids and took all of the work out of it for us as parents. We will be booking again!

Jason was an amazing guide! He works very hard to find a variety of fish and is great at working with first timers as well as experienced fisherman. He is one of the nicest guides i have ever fished with. He really has a lot fun and GENUINELY really cares about his clientele. We will definitely be fishing with Jason many more times and i will recommend him to everyone!!

We got to spend 4 hours with Jason learning about the area and what fish were lurking in each spot. We caught several different species and had fun doing it! He’s very knowledgeable about the area and knows where to take you if you want fish to take home for dinner vs other exciting catches (and release).

Jason was an excellent guide! He was attentive, and worked very hard to find fish for us. The wind made the effort much more difficult but, we found fish and had a blast! We made the most of the day despite the wind not allowing us to be safe further off the coast.

My son and I went out with JC today and it was nothing short of amazing. JC put us on some monster Redfish!!! Some of the other varieties weren’t biting today so we went after what was and it was just an amazing time. It was our first time going out on saltwater and JC made sure we were good to go and comfortable with everything. I can’t say enough good things about him. On top of being a good Captain, he’s just a good guy. Top notch!

We have a super time with Jason. The boat was clean and well stocked and he knew exactly where to go for the fish and if they weren’t biting quickly, we went somewhere else!
