Yes. The captain we had was knowledgeable about everything fishing. He ensured we only caught fish that were of legal size and type. He also had sufficient equipment and also various places to fish when any of the places were not yielding any success.

The captain told us that snapper season is around end of April and first of May (I think). I caught 4 baby snappers but we couldn’t keep them bc of the season. Also, they get really big so if I was going to book another trip, I’d look at what’s in season then go from there. But either way it’s going to be a great time!

Have fun. The captain and crew do what they can and take you where there are schools of fish for drop rig or trail for predator fish. They have no control over the weather or fish. Do some research first and ask questions.

The only thing that wasn't enjoyable on the trip is the paid parking where we met up. Not that the $10 paid parking is a problem but it wasn't clear that where we parked was also paid parking. The way the lot is laid out it appeared as if the paid section was for the trucks and trailers. We parked by the bathrooms which isn't in the same parking lot. When we got back I had a $50 fine on the vehicle.. So beware.

We took our family of 4 out with Big Al. We have a 4 and 6 year old. If was very fitting and we had a great time, we def recommend using Big Al for your guide. Next year we will def do a longer trip with him.

Captain Big Al is tremendous. Got us on the fish quick, great conversation, we just had fun fishing. He's very knowledgeable about what's going on in area, where are the fish are running, or the sharks are running, and works his ass off to make it a great trip. Highly recommend Big Al's for anytime you want a great trip.

Our trip with Captain Big Al was awesome. Our family of 6 all caught fish, including 3 sharks! Captain Big Al was a lot of fun. He was great with the kids (ages 5-16). He had some cool stories and shared lots of interesting local knowledge. Most importantly, he knew where and how to catch all kinds of fish. Thanks Big Al!!!

We had a great time with Tyler! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our first trip out shark fishing. Tyler made sure our safety was a priority with the expected hurricane that could affect our trip. We caught and brought up 5 sharks, hooked at least a dozen and kept 1. Tyler filleted it for us to take home to fry up! Great experience! We will be back!!!

Captain Zach is a great captain. Got us on the bite and kept us on it. We actually gave us extra time because the bite was solid. Boat and equipment was fantastic and solid. Great at finding and catching bait, along with great supply of live shrimp. Will be my go to captain when in the area !

Captain was willing to take us out despite the rain and found us a dry spot. Fishing was a little slow at first. They started really biting on our 3rd spot. Only downside was that our time was up while the fish were still biting.
