Marathon Amberjack Fishing Charters

Discover both offshore and reef, wreck, bridge, and ledge fishing.

Fish the beautiful reef that runs along the Florida Keys. Crystal blue waters surround us while still fishing in sight of land. Expect constant action on light tackle. Catches to expect are Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Mackerel, Grouper, and sharks.

Spend 4–5 hours prowling the inshore waters for a variety of fish species, head out to the nearby reefs, or checkout the backcountry bite. You'll be targeting anything from Spanish Mackerel and Sharks to Snapper and Groupers. Come aboard with some drinks and snacks, and you're ready to go.

On this trip, you can pick from a variety of options, fish for Yellowtail, Mangrove Snapper, Mackerel and Grouper. Set the rods out and troll to target pelagic's such as Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo. Drift fish for some of your larger Mutton Snapper and Amberjack. Seasons will determine your catch. Gear, bait, bottled water, and fishing licenses for up to 6 anglers await on board.

We will depart at 8 a.m. for a short ride into the Great Florida Reef System. While fishing in the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States, we will target Snapper, Mackerel, Grouper, and many other species of fish found on this reef, even the prized Wahoo or Sailfish. We will be bottom fishing and/or trolling in the crystal clear waters of the Florida Keys ranging from 40 to 100 feet, often with visibility down to 50 or 60 feet.

Great way to catch some dinner and explore the tiny secluded islands in the Keys. And also do some snorkeling. We do not supply snorkel.

If ocean conditions are rough, no worries - your adventure continues in the sheltered waters near the 7-Mile Bridge or in the Gulf. We'll target a wide variety of prized species. This trip gives you enough time to change it up if something isn't working due to conditions or if you have already caught a limit of targeted species, you can go target something else.

The half-day trip is the perfect way to fill the cooler with delicious snapper or grouper, then turn up the excitement by targeting something bigger before heading back in.
