Northern Territory Barramundi Fishing Charters

The crew's second most popular package! Catch iconic Territory Barra. Join the yearly Million Dollar Fish competition. About 50% of the prized fish was caught in Darwin Harbour. You have to be in it to win it! Terms and conditions: only specific dates are possible to chase Barramundi in the Harbour. This charter requires low tide at least 2 meters low in the Harbour. The other option is to go out at Corroboree Billabong, a part of Mary River National Park, or Shady Camp on an 8-hour charter.

You will travel up to 80km each way to get to the best fishing grounds. The local fishing guide on board will choose the best location to go to depending on the time of year and your preferences. You'll use a variety of techniques, such as jigging, popping, dropping baits and stickbaits. You'll hook Barramundi, Black Jewfish, Red Snapper, and many more. All fishing equipment you'll need for the day is included. Even your fishing license for the day is included in the price, as well as snacks and drinks.

4 people max on Barra chartet. This trip allows you the choice of exploring the waters of Dundee Beach, Finniss River and Coastal Creeks. You'll reel in favorites including Barramundi, Black Jewfish, Threadfin Salmon, and more. Your captain will provide rods, reels, lures, and tackle. No need to bring a license, it's not required.

Our experienced guides will offer personalized service which can provide you the most amazing fishing experience ever. Techniques include trolling, casting hard body lures as well as casting soft plastics. We target barramundi as it is a popular species for the superb eating qualities, fighting abilities, size. A prized catch of a 100 cm Barra by anglers is about 7 or 8 years old. Note: we will clean or fillet your catch and bag it up for you to take home! Great fun for family or small group day tours.

You and Skipper Robert will be fly fishing in Darwin Harbour. You'll have a great time fly fishing in the flats and estuary systems for Barramundi and tropical sports fish. The trip departure time is 8:00 a.m. The trip covers all the equipment and drinks.

Pick up and return to your accommodation in the Darwin area. Travel to and from the fishing location is in an air-conditioned, modern 4WD Toyota Prado Station Wagon, which is a licenced Tourist Vehicle. The fishing guide holds a current H endorsement on their driver's licence. Morning tea, lunch (Full Day Escapes only) and chilled water supplied. A 95L fridge is provided on the boat. Time on the water is approximately 7 hours.

This trip an extended multi day trip. You will be living onboard our mother ship 'Iron Lady' and fishing from fully guarded tenders. The location of the fishing will be from Arnhem Land, please get in touch with the skipper to arrange meeting/pickup point.
